So, I was browsing the interwebs the other day, as I do, and I stumbled upon this gem:
Camping Checklist for the RV-Obsessed
First off, let’s take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this RV checklist. I mean, just look at it. It’s so organized and visually pleasing. It’s basically a work of art that happens to be useful.
Now, if you’re an RV enthusiast like myself, you know the importance of being prepared for any and all situations while on the road. You never know what kind of curveballs life (or nature) will throw your way.
That’s where this checklist comes in handy. It covers everything from kitchen essentials to maintenance supplies to safety gear. And let’s be real, who doesn’t love a good checklist? It’s like completing a mini-challenge each time you cross something off.
But wait, there’s more. This checklist also provides space for personal items, such as clothing and toiletries. Because let’s face it, even though we may be living that RV life, we still need to brush our teeth and wear clean underwear.
Now, while this checklist is pretty comprehensive, I must admit that I have a few additions that I like to include when packing for a trip in my trusty RV.
My Top RV Must-Haves
1. A good book (or two). Sure, you’ll probably be spending a decent amount of time driving and exploring, but there will also be downtime. And what better way to spend downtime than with a good book? It’s a great way to unwind and escape into a different world for a little while.
2. A portable Bluetooth speaker. Music is a staple of any road trip, and a portable speaker ensures that you can blast your tunes no matter where you are. Plus, you can easily move it from inside the RV to outside for some al fresco listening.
3. Snacks on snacks on snacks. As someone who is typically hungry approximately every 45 minutes, I cannot overstate the importance of having a well-stocked snack supply. It’s also a great way to try out local snacks and treats while on the road.
4. A comfortable camp chair. Sure, your RV is pretty comfy, but there’s nothing like sitting outside and taking in the sights and sounds around you. A good camp chair allows you to do just that in a comfortable and relaxed way.
5. Bug spray. Because nature is beautiful and all that, but let’s be real, mosquitos are the worst.
So there you have it, folks. A comprehensive RV checklist to get you started, along with some personal must-haves to make your trip even better. Happy RV-ing!
