Quibbler Printable

Do you ever wonder what the Quibbler might look like in real life? Thanks to Ashlynn Webb, we no longer have to imagine! She has beautifully created an issue of the quirky wizarding publication on Issuu, and we are here for it. Let’s take a closer look at what Ashlynn has brought to life.

The Cover

The Quibbler coverRight away, we are greeted with a stunning and whimsical cover. The vibrant colors and varied typography draw you in, and the headline “EXCLUSIVE: Corpse Cured!” leaves you intrigued. It’s clear that this issue of the Quibbler is going to be full of fascinating and unexpected stories.

Strange But True Stories

Strange But True StoriesThe “Strange But True Stories” section of the Quibbler is always a must-read, and Ashlynn’s version is no exception. We learn about a wizard who accidentally transfigured himself into a teapot, a class of Hogwarts students who were accidentally turned into ferrets, and a group of angry kneazles who took over a wizarding village. The illustrations accompanying these stories are whimsical and fun, perfectly capturing the silly and unexpected nature of the Quibbler’s content.

Quibbler Exclusive: Corpse Cured

Corpse CuredThe headline that caught our attention on the cover is explained in detail in the “Quibbler Exclusive: Corpse Cured” article. We learn about a mysterious corpse that had been lying in the Hogwarts hospital wing for weeks, despite numerous attempts by Madam Pomfrey to revive it. Finally, a young apprentice named Cornelius Fudge was able to revive the corpse using a combination of unorthodox methods and sheer force of will. While this may seem like an outlandish and unlikely story, Fudge’s account of events is detailed and convincing.

Ask Luna

Ask LunaNo issue of the Quibbler would be complete without an advice column from Luna Lovegood. Ashlynn includes “Ask Luna” in her version of the publication, and Luna’s responses are just as insightful and peculiar as we’d expect. We learn about the benefits of sleeping with a garden gnome under your pillow, the best way to communicate with nargles, and why Luna believes that Crumple-Horned Snorkacks are real (despite the lack of scientific evidence). Luna’s quirky voice and unwavering belief in the extraordinary make “Ask Luna” a delight to read.

Wizarding Recipes

Wizarding RecipesThe “Wizarding Recipes” section of the Quibbler is always a treat for those of us who love to get creative in the kitchen (or who simply enjoy reading about magical food). Ashlynn’s version does not disappoint, with recipes for Cauldron Cakes, Hagrid’s Rock Cakes, and Gillywater. The photographs of each dish are mouth-watering, and the step-by-step instructions are easy to follow. We can’t wait to try our hand at these delicious recipes!

The Quibbler’s Weird World

The Quibbler’s Weird WorldThe final section of the Quibbler includes a mish-mash of weird and wonderful stories from the wizarding world. Ashlynn includes a particularly compelling piece about a group of wizarding pirates who have been attacking Muggle ships off the coast of England. While many in the wizarding community dismiss these reports as tall tales, Ashlynn’s investigative reporting uncovers evidence that suggests the pirates may be real. This article, along with the rest of the “Weird World” section, reminds us of the vast and mysterious world of magic that lies just beyond our grasp.

All in all, Ashlynn Webb has created a stunning and delightful issue of the Quibbler. Her attention to detail and love for the eccentricities of the wizarding world shine through in every page. We only wish that this version of the Quibbler were real, so that we could subscribe and receive a copy every month. Until then, we’ll have to content ourselves with Ashlynn’s incredible reimagination.
