Hey fam, can you believe it’s already June and it’s time to celebrate Juneteenth? In case you don’t know what it is, Juneteenth marks the day when Union General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, to announce that the Civil War had ended and all slaves were free. That was June 19, 1865, and now we commemorate that day with celebrations, parades, and educational events across the country.
