So, I was browsing the internet the other day and stumbled upon something that made me laugh out loud. It was a collection of hostage shooting targets! Yes, you read that right. Targets that simulate the situation of having hostages as shields. Now, I’m all for responsible gun ownership and practicing shooting skills, but this is just too funny to not share.
Gunfun Hostage Paper
The first one I found is called “gunfun hostage paper” and comes in a pack of 10. I can just imagine someone setting this up at their local shooting range and people’s reactions when they see it. It’s definitely a conversation starter, that’s for sure. But, let’s hope no one takes these targets too seriously and starts practicing their hostage-taking skills.
Printable Silhouette Shooting Targets
This next one is a bit more practical, it’s a printable silhouette shooting target. However, the silhouette is of a person holding a gun, with a bullseye target right in the middle of the chest. I’m not sure how accurate this is in simulating a real-life situation, but it definitely adds a level of intensity to target practice.
ISIS Goat Hostage Target
Now, this is where things start to get a little ridiculous. The “ISIS goat hostage target” features a picture of a goat, with two human heads (presumably hostages) in front of it. Again, I can’t help but laugh at the thought of someone setting this up and taking it seriously. But, I guess it’s better to practice shooting at fictional hostages than real ones.
Free Printable Hostage Targets
This one is a bit more practical for those who want to practice at home. It’s a free printable hostage target, featuring a person with a gun pointed at them, and a hostage in front of them. I guess this is a good way to practice shooting accuracy while under pressure, but again, let’s not take it too seriously.
Hostage Crisis
The “hostage crisis” target features a man holding a woman hostage, with a gun pointed at her head. This is definitely a bit more intense than some of the other targets, and could potentially make someone quite uncomfortable. But, at the end of the day, it’s still just a piece of paper.
ISIS Goat Hostage Target (Again)
Yes, there’s another “ISIS goat hostage target” on this list. This one is a bit more extreme, with three human heads in front of the goat. I’m not sure what the purpose of this one is, but it definitely makes for an interesting conversation piece.
CTS Mod X - Hostage Only
The last target on this list is the “CTS mod x - hostage only” target. It’s pretty straightforward, just a picture of a person with a gun pointed at them, and a hostage in front of them. I guess this is a good way to practice shooting under pressure, but I can’t imagine it’s very fun for the person playing the hostage.
