Printable Code Red Diet Food List

Okay, so I stumbled upon this list of “Noom red foods” and let me tell you guys, it’s quite the laugh. Apparently these foods are supposed to be eaten sparingly on some kind of diet or something. But let me tell you, as a funny person with no expertise in diet and nutrition, I can definitely give you my opinion on these so-called “red foods”.

First up on the list - chocolate cake!

A delicious looking chocolate cakeOkay, I don’t know about you guys but if this is a “red food” then sign me up for that diet! Look at that cake, it looks amazing. I mean, sure, maybe don’t eat it every day or something but come on, who can resist a slice of chocolate cake every once in a while? Life is too short to deny ourselves the simple pleasures in life like cake.

Next we have - bacon

A beautiful plate of crispy baconOkay, now I’m really starting to question this whole “red food” thing. Bacon? Really? Who in their right mind would say no to bacon? I mean, I guess if you were a vegetarian or something it would make sense but for the rest of us, bacon is a breakfast staple. And let’s be real, bacon makes everything better. Burgers? Add bacon. Salad? Add bacon. Ice cream? …okay, maybe not ice cream. But you get my point, bacon is delicious and should not be restricted in any way.

Sodium-packed soup

A steaming bowl of soupOkay, so I’ll admit, maybe soup isn’t the most exciting food out there. But come on, who hasn’t had a comforting bowl of chicken noodle soup when they’re feeling under the weather? And yeah, I guess some soups can be pretty high in sodium but let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater here. Soup can be a healthy and filling meal, and really hits the spot on a cold day.

Red wine

A glass of red wineIf drinking red wine is wrong, then I don’t want to be right. I mean, sure, maybe don’t have a bottle every night but a glass of wine with dinner? Yes please. And let’s not forget, red wine is good for your heart or something like that. So really, drinking red wine is practically a health food. You’re welcome.

Chocolate covered strawberries

A plate of chocolate covered strawberriesOkay, whoever made this “red foods” list clearly has something against chocolate. First there was the cake, and now they’re coming for our chocolate covered strawberries? It’s like they don’t want us to be happy. Chocolate covered strawberries are the perfect combination of sweet and tart, and are practically a healthy snack since they have fruit in them. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s how it works.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this “Noom red foods” list is a bunch of baloney. Sure, some of these foods may not be the healthiest options out there but let’s not act like we can’t enjoy them in moderation. Life is all about balance, and sometimes that means enjoying a slice of cake or a glass of wine without worrying about whether it’s a “red food” or not. So go forth, my friends, and enjoy all the delicious foods that life has to offer.
