Plenty of Drama of the $10 Bill
Apparently, the US Treasury decided to change the design of the ten dollar bill as part of their ongoing effort to put more women on our currency. The redesign was supposed to depict abolitionist and women’s suffrage activist, Harriet Tubman, on the front of the bill instead of Alexander Hamilton. However, after much debate and controversy, the Treasury Department decided to delay the redesign until after 2020 and keep Hamilton on the front.
