Today was the big day, folks! It was my very first day of preschool and boy, was I excited. I even had a special sign to mark the occasion, thanks to some helpful pinners on Pinterest.
My First Day of School Sign
Just look at this beauty. I felt so official holding this sign up for all to see. I mean, who needs a name tag when you have a sign this cool?
My Outfit
And let’s not forget about my outfit! Can you say “fashion-forward”? I knew I had to make a good first impression, so I pulled out all the stops. A little sparkle here, a little bow there…I was ready to conquer the preschool world.
The Playground
Of course, the most exciting part of the day was getting to play on the playground. I mean, who wouldn’t want to go down the slide a million times or climb on the jungle gym until their arms felt like Jello? It was pure bliss.
Naptime
But all that playing can really tire a kid out. And when you’re tired, you need a good nap. Luckily, we had a cozy little rest area where I could snuggle up with my favorite blanket and catch some Z’s.
Snack Time
But you can’t nap all day, right? Eventually, it was time for snack and I was more than ready. We had some delicious animal crackers and milk to wash them down. It was the perfect mid-morning pick-me-up.
Arts and Crafts
After snack, it was time to get creative. We had some fun arts and crafts projects to work on, including some coloring pages and a really cool glitter project. Let’s just say, my hands were sparkling for the rest of the day.
Show and Tell
But the best part of the day had to be show and tell. I mean, who doesn’t love sharing their favorite toy or stuffed animal with their classmates? I brought in my beloved teddy bear, Mr. Snuggles, and I could tell everyone was pretty darn impressed.
The End of the Day
And before I knew it, the day had come to a close. I hugged my new friends goodbye and made my way to the car with my mom. It had been one heck of a day and I couldn’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
Well, that’s all for now, folks. Thanks for following me on my very first day of preschool journey. Until next time!
