Hey guys! So, I found this picture online, and it got me thinking about the story of the Gingerbread Man. You know the one, right? Where the little gingerbread man jumps out of the oven and runs away from all the animals trying to eat him? Well, I found a free printable version of the story and it is just too cute!

The story starts out with an old woman who bakes a gingerbread man. As soon as he’s done cooking, he jumps up and runs out the door! He meets a bunch of different animals who all want to eat him, but the gingerbread man always says he’s too fast for them and runs away!
He meets a cow, a donkey, and even a sly old fox, but he always manages to escape. Until, that is, he meets a river. He can’t swim, and the sly old fox offers to take him across. Of course, once they get to the other side, the fox gobbles up the gingerbread man!
What a cute story!
I absolutely love the idea of making this story into a cute little printable for kids. It’s such a classic tale and one that I know I would have loved as a kid.
Plus, who doesn’t love gingerbread men? They’re just the cutest little cookies! I can imagine printing out this story and reading it to my future nieces and nephews while decorating gingerbread men. How fun!
