Are you ready for some baseball? Because the 2022 Major League Baseball schedule is officially here! And today, we’re taking a look at the Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers schedules.
Atlanta Braves Schedule
The Braves are coming off a great season, winning the National League East division and making it to the National League Championship Series. Can they build on that success in 2022?
The Braves kick off the season on April 7th at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers. They’ll play their first road series against the Cincinnati Reds, before returning home to face the Miami Marlins.
One of the highlights of the Braves schedule is a six-game homestand against the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies in late May.
In June, the Braves will face a tough stretch where they play 17 of 20 games on the road. But, they’ll close out the month with a nine-game homestand against the Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, and San Francisco Giants.
The Braves will play their traditional Fourth of July game at home against the Washington Nationals, and they’ll wrap up the regular season with a six-game road trip against the New York Mets and Marlins.
Texas Rangers Schedule
The Rangers are in the midst of a rebuild, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be exciting moments for fans to look forward to in 2022.
The Rangers will open the season on the road against the Toronto Blue Jays, before returning home for their home opener against the Houston Astros on April 7th.
One of the highlights of the Rangers schedule is a nine-game homestand in late April and early May against the Angels, Athletics, and Yankees.
In June, the Rangers will play 17 of 21 games on the road, facing tough opponents like the Red Sox, Astros, and Giants. But, they’ll close out the month with a six-game homestand against the Marlins and Astros.
The Rangers will celebrate the Fourth of July with a home game against the Mariners. And, they’ll wrap up the season with a six-game road trip against the Angels and Mariners.
